Chrono Trigger help!

Please help! I am at the beggining of the game and when I get to the portal it crashes and doesnt do anything! Please, Is it the game or do I have to do something to get it to work?

well
1.this is forum help not video game help so you should put this in the chrono trigger area
2.its most likely the game i would go to where i bought it and tell them about it and make them give you your money back

Dabottle at the beggining where Marie gets capture or disappears from Crono. At the fair place

Well in my point of view, its most likely the game itself. So if I were you I would go back to the place where you got your copy of the game and ask for a swap, by that I mean tell them the game isnt working and they should take the game back and give you a new copy. Hope this helps. Smile
